Our Staffordshire bull terriers

We ask people to keep in contact with us when buying a puppy from us, here are some pictures of Stafford's we have bred

The red bitch in the middle of the basket was our first Stafford we called her Honey, the other two stafford were from our very first stafford litter back in 1990

this is Otis from our first litter , he was a lucky boy he had a lovely home we saw this dog at all stages of his life

Harry is from our second litter

Frankie was from our second litter she was returned to us because a couple split up, so she stayed within the family

She is starting to get grey now!

Jed from litter 3

Archie from litter 5

A really lovely dog, who we very nearly kept a young Lad was looking for a puppy because his old stafford had been put to sleep so we let him go

Pictured here at 12 months old when his owner retuned for another puppy from us

The owner of ths dog also returned for another puppy

Choosing the right homes

we use our gut instincts when a family comes to meet us & our dogs

A true family member: christmas dinner!

Just a Daft DOG!

A birthday party ? I don't even get a cake!

Buster one of Levi and Armani's pups we hand raised he is just one of the family

Buster had a snuggle puppy to help him settle in

we can see how proud the owner is

This is the second puppy owned by Harry he had his first stafford from us 16 years previous

My views on showing dogs

I feel that here is where I have my say about my Views on showing dogs & selling puppies to people that want a puppy to show
We have attended shows and Shown in the early years and gained knowledge from this
It has been brought to our attention that some people in the show world look down upon breeders that do not show their dogs
We breed to the breed standard from health tested dogs
But will never sell a puppy as show quality not because our dogs are not up to standard, but because we want the very best of homes for our puppies
It is in our puppies best interest to go to a family that will be proud of their Stafford what ever it turns out like
A happy Stafford is one that is truly a family member
Not a dog that spends hours traveling from show to show
We enjoy our dogs company more than we value certificates and winning prizes
We had a pup returned to us for not being good enough to show
We were very flattered to be asked if a staffordshire bull terrier breed secretary's grandson could have pick of our litter
we knew we were breeding to a good standard but it was great to be recognised as a good breeder
Good for us, not for the puppy, she was returned under weight and not socialised, they simply had lost interest just because she did meet their expectations

We found Maddie a good home she is happy now
Breeding to improve a blood line and win prizes is one thing mentioned in the show world but we feel that quite a few puppies have a less than ideal start to life caused by people looking for so called perfection
One term we have heard often used is running on puppies just to see if they are good enough to show and breed from, the earlier a puppy settles into a family home the better in my opionion

We sold Camilla a puppy, she is a good owner, Harriet has a lovely family home, Camilla does agility with Harriet and has started showing because she is happy with the dog we bred, we feel this is how it should be, family home first not brought to show
Harriet was the first puppy we exported see more of her on our exporting page she enjoys a wounderful life
Harriet

Harriet is a puppy we bred sired by Levi she has won her first CC

Harriet is on the right

The reuslt from Stangehallen 24.04.2010
Judge: Peter Rehanek
Czech Republic
Judge: 3 years old, typical head, scissor bite, eyes dark, ears well set, chest deep an broad. Back straight and muscular, legs well angulation. Temprament regular. Movement excellent!
Result : 1 AK 1 AKK, CK, CC, 1 Best bitch, BOB!
We are proud of this acheivement but would like to end up by saying we are not Aiming to breed champion dogs
Our aim is to breed dogs to the breed standard more important to us is to find the very best people to care for the dogs through out their lives so far we have acheived this thank you to every body who currently has one of our staffords

Your Stafford might not turn into a Champion,
BUT……
If you love him, he’ll love you.
If you teach him, he’ll listen to you
If you feed and play with him, he will trust you.
If you groom him, he’ll be a pleasure to have around.
If you spend five minutes a day on him, he’ll give you 24 hours of pleasure, joy, pride and love.
He could be the BEST FRIEND you’ll ever have!
