Exporting pups

We do not ship our pups but we will export

Shipping a pup is not exceptable to us because we like to meet the owners face to face before selling a pup.

If you are prepared to travel to England and can offer a pup a good life we are more than happy to get your enquiry.

Each pup that leaves England is Totaly different, we contact DEFRA for help and advice each time, just to be sure there are no problems, we ask the new owner to do the same just to be sure the pup gets home ok.

Our first experience with exporting ,was complicated but not impossible.
Camilla & Espan lived in a rural part of Norway, they had a male stafford, Borre, and wanted a bitch pup from England.

After many emails and a couple of phone calls, we were happy for them to give one of our pups a home
No deposit but the payment was received in full for the puppy at the start of the agreement.
The pup needed to be micro chipped.
An export pedigree was needed before collection.
An EU Passport from our vet.
A worming injection was needed 7 days before the pup traveled.
Because the pup traveled at ten weeks old no rabies jab was required
There was confusion over the rabies requirement, but it seems because England is rabies free a pup can leave unvaccinated, but the pup must leave around ten weeks old.
We do have a problem if rabies is required, as a pup can't be vaccinated untill twelve weeks old & can't travel until fourteen weeks old.
A pup is ready to leave us at eight weeks old we feel it is important that the pup settles in it's new home as soon as possible

This is Harriet, Camilla & Espan came to stay with us for a few days before going home to Norway
A final payment was made for the micro chip, passport, export pedigree & worming vaccination
We were a little unsure about selling to a couple from Norway, but we had a good feeling about this couple, as soon as we met them we could see by the way they were around the pup, we had made the right decission.

We were worried about the stress of flying for a young pup ,but after a 90 minute flight Harriet was reunited with her new owners, she was asleep in her travel crate !

We have received lots of pictures and have had regular contact from Camilla & Espan, They have spent time to train harriet in obedience classes & she looks very happy in Norway!.

Harriet will soon be shown, Harriet will be two in febuary 09,we are expecting news of her first litter around this time
Harriet's hip & elbow score results were very good this is an additional requirement for a breeding bitch in Norway.

Camilla has put in alot of hard work with Harriet including agility work

Well done Camilla & Harriet

All the hard work has paid off Harriet is a confident happy Stafford!

Harriet wins a reserve CC at a championship show

Harriet has been in Norway for two years now and the photos keep coming

We have had two pups that went to scotland straight forward, but a long journey however both pups were fine!

One little bitch has gone to Ireland no special requirements.

Another bitch has gone to america, the owners came to collect her at 9 weeks old all that was required was a fit to fly certificate

But each state in America has its own rules, we have never had a problem with exporting because we have double checked the rules each time.
